Selby District Council recently approved DPA's application for an 800kW biomass system to supply heat for greenhouse grown crops. Other recent examples include approval for a ground source heat pump in Devon, the installation of a single electrical substation for combed heat and power station in Dewsbury, ground mounted solar on agricultural land in Leeds, the repowering of an onshore wind site in Angus and the installation of a single 1 MW wind turbine at Aunt Bessie’s Factory in Hull.
